The User’s Guide
to getting started here at Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn[/center]
Please note that this is not a guide to roleplaying; it is to help with the confusion of being a new member at this site
The Purpose:
So you’re a new member here at Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn. We, the Administrators, understand that some of the aspects of this site are rather confusing, particularly getting started, which is why this guide was created. This will guide you through starting off here at Saviors of Krynn and helping you create a character and become a respected new member. Reading through this will take you step-by-step through becoming a member here.
You just joined – Now what?
So you just registered here at Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn, and now you’re staring at the screen wondering what you should do. The first thing that you should do is to read the Rules, the Plot and all of the Plot Updates, and you should glance through the Information // Updates board. These will give you the basic information about Saviors of Krynn, and while it may take some time, it will be worth it.
Character Creation
The second thing that you should be doing is Creating a Character. Creating a character may be simple for those who have roleplayed before at forum websites. However, if this is your first roleplaying site that you have joined, this can be a rather difficult challenge for you to complete. Click here to view many tips and necessities that will help you create a character.
If you wish to create a limited character, you must apply to an Administrator and have them accept your request, then you may continue on to created your character bio. It will then be read and critiqued by the staff and you will need to receive 1 accept for your character to be approved. Your character bio will need to be filled out in the Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn Character Creation Outline or else it will not be accepted.
So now you know! We hope that this covers any questions that you may have, but if you still have more, PM Raistlin and he will be glad to help you with any problems and questions that you may have.

Private/Personal Messages
To check your PM’s (Private/Personal Messages), there is a link just under the Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn News Center that will either say No New Private Messages, or X New Private Messages. You can click this and it will display your messages, or you can click the number of new PM’s that is displayed in the Forum Information table at the bottom of the site.
The Dragonlance: Saviors of Krynn News Center
The Saviors of Krynn News Center is the first part of the forum that you will see. It contains a lot of information for this site including: The Voting Buttons, Any Information or Updates, the Staff, and Helpful Links. You will want to glance at this every time that you come here, as there may very well be news posted in the middle section which is labeled as Updates and News.
Members Practice
If you just want to practice, or if you feel that you need help with roleplaying, then you can practice at the RP Practice board. If you wish to have a guide to help you improve your roleplaying, contact an Administrator and they will help you.
