Gnorx Was walking along when he saw a good place to invent things. He climbed a tree to get a couple of leaves and used his dagger to cut off some tree bark. He also decided to get some branches and water. "Oooohpretty!" He yelled. He began to invent.

Adonis was also traveling along the very same road as the young gnome. It was terrible hot outside, so the young man stopped to catch his breath. As he stopped, he noticed a very strange sound. It resounded in the air like a bell. It was ... the high pitched, squeeling voice of a gnome. Great ... Adonis thought, just my luck.
With a heaving sigh, Adonis turned around and spotted the little fellow working expertly at inventing some sort of gnomish contraption. "Hello, friend," said Adonis kindly, making his way toward the little gnome. "What are you doing out here? Don't your kind usually invent indoors. You must be horribly hot out here."

Adonis pondered the gnome's words for a moment, although they seemed more like gibberish to the young man. "Hold on one moment. Could you please repeat what you said ... slowly?" He hoped the little fellow would understand what he meant by "slowly". "My name is Adonis, by the way. Adonis Eryx." He extended his hand for the gnome to shake.

Lightfoot raced madly through the forest, heaving from exhausting and nearing unconsciousness. She fought her way past numerous branches and trees, cutting herself, which made the run even more difficult. Lightfoot was a beautiful gray mare, but now she looked more like a wild mud-caked brown.
Lightfoot's rider sat in determination, wiping perspiration from his brow. His ancient sword was drawn and held at a fighting pose. Lightfoot and her rider, Xander Hughes, were in pursuit, fleeing for their very lives.
Behind them, a towering creature, similar to a dragon but a bit smaller, chased them, shooting random blasts of fire and running over trees easily. The dragon creature was a tint of blue, vicious looking, and intent upon the kill. Xander and his small mare would be an easy target.
The three crashed through the forest and ended up on a winding path. Xander's thoughts were elsewhere, and he didn't even notice the young man and gnome whom he was running right towards. Lightfoot, however, did notice. The small mare reared back with a kick, nearly tumbling into Adonis and Gnorx. The dragon creature also stopped it's chase and eyed it's two new targets, hunger and madness gleaming in it's eyes. With a snarl, it reared back to attack.
And with a battle cry of defiance, Xander raised his sword and charged.

The dragon creature charged, its sharp teeth gleaming in the sunlight. It bit down, hard, toward Xander. The only thought in its small mind was food. It would kill, it would tear apart, it would destroy, for food. A blood red rage took control of the monster. Blood clouded its vision.
Xander deflected the blow with his ancient sword. But the force of the strike jarred his hand and sent his sword flying. Quickly, Xander leaped aside, out of the monsters range, grabbed his sword, and swung viciously at the creature's dragon-like head. "Watch out!" He shouted toward Adonis and Gnorx. "Run!" The creature bit down upon his sword and pulled it from the young man's grasp, intending to bite it in half.
But the sword glowed a magnificent gold and the beast dropped it with a howl of fury and pain. It charged once more, trying to cleave Xander's head from his body.
And Xander dodged once more, grasping his sword in the process. He brought it up in a wonderful arch and sliced open the monster's neck. It howled one last time before crashing to the ground, lifeless.
With a sigh, Xander walked toward the two newcomers. He was shaking all over, and it took him time to speak. "I am truly sorry. I should never have lured that monster toward you--" But he was cut off as another, smaller, beast leaped from the cover of the trees and thrashed toward them.

Another was also close by to the trio and the creature attacking them. What appeared to be a young human male in his early twenties loped along the trail at a steady pace. His body was lean, hard muscles rippling under slightly tanned skin. Dark, ebony-coloured hair fell just slightly below his shoulders, straight and neatly combed.
But perhaps his most striking feature was his eyes. They were as blue as newly forged steel, as blue as a cloudless summer sky.
As blue as the scales of a Blue dragon.
Yes, the man loping along the trail seeming to be searching for something was not born of any woman in this world or the next. No, he was born of two dragons, and the descendant of the legendary, fearsome blue dragon known as Tempest.
Skie was in his human form today, hunting for one of those strange, dragon-like creatures that had dare steal from his vast treasure horde while he was away from his lair.
Snarling, he stopped and searched for their distinctive tracks, his eyes narrowed in anger. How had they managed to get in? How did they dare to try and get in? Skie was about to continue when he heard the sounds of fighting up ahead. Walking forward eagerly but still containing himself, Skie drew the steel longsword from its sheath clipped onto the finely tooled leather belt around his waist. While he didn't really need it, the longsword was always useful, especially when he did not wish to reveal himself as a dragon, but still needed to defend himself. He didn't like casting magic in this puny human form. The words didn't sound right.
