Full Name: Goldmoon
Age: 29
Race: Human/Barbarian
Gender: Female
Magic: None
Birthplace: Plains of Abanasinia
Strengths: Goldmoon is regarded by everyone she meets as being compassionate and kind. She is a natural speaker and inspires others to reach their goals. She is also deeply religious and seeks to spread the teachings of Mishakal throughout Ansalon.
Weaknesses: Goldmoon’s compassion for all living things can be a hindrance for the companions in times of war. As a princess, Goldmoon has a habit of expecting to be able to “get her way” in most situations. Also, although she was raised by warlike people in a barbarian tribe, she is not a skilled fighter herself.
Description: A young female barbarian with incredible beauty. The strands of her long hair appear to be spun out of gold and silver, which is an unusual trait among her people, who typically have dark hair. She has sky blue eyes and tan skin, and dresses in the manner of most of the people of the plains, in a leather tunic and breeches.
Weapons: Blue Crystal Staff
History: Goldmoon is a princess who was destined from birth to be the High Priestess of the Que Shu tribe. She is the daughter of Arrowthorn, Chieftain of the Que Shu, and Tearsong, the deceased high priestess of her tribe. In her position Goldmoon is worshipped as a goddess by her people. She was very content in her tribal role until she fell in love with Riverwind, the son of a shepherd who believed in the old gods. Goldmoon and Riverwind confessed their love for each other, but the chief would not grant his consent for marriage until Riverwind proved his worth. Riverwind set out on a quest to find proof of the old gods’ existence. While he was gone Goldmoon’s father fell ill and she became the virtual leader of her tribe for the next ten years.
In Goldmoon’s 29th year Riverwind returns from his quest with a blue crystal staff that possesses healing qualities, proof that the ancient gods exist. The chief and the tribe do not accept the staff as valid proof of the old gods’ existence and Riverwind is sentenced to stoning by Goldmoon’s father. As the tribe begins throwing stones, Goldmoon embraces Riverwind and they are both transported from their village to the city of Solace.
RP Sample:
As Sturm drew nearer to Solace a bright light flashed ahead of him in the woods. He approached the spot where the light appeared cautiously, and as he advanced he spotted two travelers, one male, one female, dressed in the manner of the peoples of the plains. They stood for a few minutes embracing each other in a small clearing on the outskirts of Solace.
“What just happened?” Riverwind inquired as he and Goldmoon took in their unfamiliar surroundings.
“I’m not sure but I think that there is a god looking out for us” Goldmoon replied shakily as she loosened her grip on Riverwind.
Both travelers were staring at a seemingly unimpressive brown staff the female held in her right hand.
