Rose spotted someone running towards her and reared up on her back legs. When she noticed it was nothing to fear she landed back down on all four's. Then she looked at the male with a snort " My name is Rose KindHeart and no I shouldn't be with my herd since I left them at the age of five. No, I don't care if you get on my back Tasslehoff." She then lowered down so it was easier for him to get on her back.

Tasslehoff jumped up and down a few times in excitment, then he climbed up onto the unicorn's back. "It's awfully high up here. Oh, boy, isn't this exciting? Thanks alot!" He smiled, happy to be doing something new. "What are you doing here with a minotaur, Rose? Is he your buddy, or you traveling companion? I had a few buddies once, about 5 years ago. But now I'm on my way to the Inn of the Last Home to see them again. Would you like to hear that story? You know, most people don't like us kender. They think we're annoying. I wonder how anyone could think that."

OOC: I hope you don't mind if I join. Isilwen Shadewind had been walking in the woods to gather herbs, when she saw the three creatures standing in the small clearing. A minotaur, a unicorn and a kender; definately a strangely assorted group. The elf picked up her sack of herbs, slung it over her right shoulder and quietly walked a little closer. She then stepped behind a bush that was close enough for her to hear what they were saying, without being seen. "You know, most people don't like us kender. They think we're annoying. I wonder how anyone could think that.", the kender said. Isilwen shook her head, and stepped out from behind the bush. "I wonder why anyone would think that.", she said sarcasticly. The Black Robe folded her slender hands inside the voluminous sleeves of her robes and waited for their reaction to her sudden apearence.

As Sturm Brightblade was walking through the forest, the silence was suddenly disturbed by a loud, kind of squeaky voice. The voice of a kender. Not wanting to lose any of his things to the hands of a kender the knight would have just kept on walking, if not for the mentioning of the Inn of the Last Home.
When he came closer to where the voice came from he suddenly stopped. There, in front of him, on the other side of the river stood a minotaur and a unicorn. Indeed an odd pair... But what surprised him most was the kender sitting on the unicorn's back. "Tasslehoff!"
He took care not to step too close to the unicorn, all the while keeping a watchful eye on the minotaur. Not to mention the black robed mage...

Drezden was a little shocked ath the sudden appearance of the Kender, not to mention the black mage and the Solamnic knight. Black mages, Drezden knew, were followers of Takhisis, just as most minotaurs were. Drezden was not most minotaurs, but he knew that to make an enemy of any mage could turn out to be a major mistake.
Drezden saw that the Knight was watching both him and the mage. It made sense to be careful around beings who were concidered dangerous. The Kender seemed to be a usual Kender and therefore Drezden made sure all his pouches were out of Tasslehoff's reach.
"Hello, and welcome.", he said nodding to them each in turn. "My name is Drezden Rakar."

Tasslehoff was surprised when a black-robed mage approached them. He nearly leapt off Rose's back in his excitement. "Hullo! My name's Tasslehoff Burrfoot!" He waved his hand in a friendly manner. He was deeply touched that so many people were talking with him. Then a sudden idea formed in his mind. When he went home to Kendermore he would be famous! No other kender that he knew off had ever ridden on the back of a unicorn. "Wait right here, Rose." He whispered, jumping off the unicorn's back with a large and fast burst of energy. "Hullo, Drezden." He said in mid-air, not forgetting his manners.
He rushed over to the mage. Tas never even noticed Sturm. "Like I said, my name's Tasslehoff Burrfoot, but my friends call me Tas. What's your name? Can you really do magic? Would you do something magical to me? I've always wondered what it would be like to be turned into a bat. Could you turn me into a bat? Say, can I touch your robes?" He jumped up and down, clapping his hands in joy. "Would you let me, please, please, please. Then you can turn me into a bat."

OOC: No matter what game I use Isilwen in she always gets pestered by a kender! And I agree. You play a kender very well. BIC: Isilwen glanced over at the Solamnic Knight as he approached and raised an eyebrow. She never did like knights. They annoyed her with their "Holier Than Thou" attitude, and their constant need to do "right". When she noticed that the knight was keeping a wary eye on her, she smirked. The elf then turned to the minotaur as he spoke. "Hello, and welcome.", he said nodding to them each in turn. "My name is Drezden Rakar." She nodded her greeting to him in return. Isilwen then grimmaced as Tasslehoff valted off of Rose's back and bombarded her with a multitude of questions. With an exasperated sigh she began to answer some of the kender's questions. "My name is Isilwen Shadewind, mage of Nuitari.", she bowed slightly as she introduced herself. "Of course I can do magic. And if you do not remove your hand from my bag, the only magical thing that I'll be doing to you is hitting you with a fire bolt.", she growled as she took a step backwards. She then placed her staff in front of Tas to prevent his questing hand from touching her robes. "Do not touch me." "No,I won't turn you into a bat. It would be an insult to bats everywhere."

Tasslehoff extended his hand in greeting, "Would you really hit me with a fire bolt? I've never been hit with a fire bolt before! I'm sure it's very interesting. Wow, now I really have a good story to take home to Kendermore! First I meet a unicorn, and now I've met a mage of Nuitari! I remember Uncle Trapspringer telling me something about unicorns and mages now that I think about it. Would you like to hear that story?"
Without waiting for an answer, he continued. "Well, Uncle Trapspringer met this mage one day. I think he wore black robes, or maybe he wore red robes. I can't really remember. Anyways, he met this mage, and the mage told him all about this mystical unicorn that he saw in a forest somewhere. I think it was near Sanction, but it could have been near Northern Ergoth. . . ." He trailed off, trying to remember where exactly the story had taken place.

Sturm was only mildly surprised that the kender hadn't noticed him; Tas was apparently too pre-occupied with the mage. He almost had to smile at the interaction between the two, but quickly caught himself. Magic was not a laughing matter. Still, it was good to hear the voice of a friend again after all these years. Taking a step forward he called the kender's name once more, louder this time, so it could be heard.
It would be better to stop Tas before he got himself into trouble with his rambling.

Rose shook her head lightly as two more peopler arrived. With a low snort she turned and looked at the knight nearby " You might as well speak your name human." She muttered as she then turned deeper into the trees swishing her tail as she then called out " The name is Rose KindHeart, and the next one to ramble at the mouth is getting trampled." She was tired and now her head was aching from being so close to too many people at one time.

Tasslehoff jerked his head in Sturm's direction, nearly pulling a muscle in his neck. "Sturm!" He yelled, his face immediately lighting up. Tas quickly forgot about the mage and ran toward his friend, hands flailing in excitement. "Sturm!" He said again as he stretched out his arms to give his friend a hug, taking one of Sturm's pouches in the process. "Where have you been all this time? I went back home, to Kendermore. It was rather fun, and interesting. Say, have you seen Flint or Tanis or anyone yet? I was just on my way to The Inn of the Last Home! Well, after I talked to this lot of course. I just met a unicorn, Sturm! And a mage! I wonder what Flint will say."

Upon hearing the unicorn's words Sturm hurried to bow before the mystical being. "My apologies. The name is Sturm Brightblade. I hope I have not offended you, ..." He trailed off, realizing he didn't really know how to address a unicorn. He didn't much time to worry about it though, as just a moment later Tas threw his arms around him. The knight shook his head. "You are the first one I've met." While the kender spoke, Sturm checked his pouches, only to find that one of them were missing. He glanced meaningfully at Tas, holding out his hand.

Tasslehoff smiled. "I was just holding it for you." He said, handing back Sturm's pouch reluctantly. "Oh, this is Rose." He gestured toward the unicorn. "She's very nice. She even let me ride on her back, or have I told you that already? It was the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. Can you imagine riding on the back of a unicorn? And I thought this journey was going to be boring! So, Sturm, what have you been doing lately? Did you come across any kender? Sorcerers? Anything interesting? You'll have to tell me all about it, after I tell you my story of course."
